What is the project about?
Adventure Play Pods is a movement and learning play platform in development for children aged 3 and up, created by Adrian Muzyka. PODs are intended to connect a child's physical choices with light, sound and game content.
The starting point is agency: a child listens, recognises a task, chooses and sees the result of an action. Within an adventure, an answer might mean finding an object, repeating a pattern or completing part of a mission.
The full brand name is Adventure Play Pods. The project's main website is adventureplaypods.com.
Where are we in development?
Physical interaction
We are developing PODs and activities based on lights and hits. Device specifications and individual mode rules depend on the prototype version.
Content and adventures
Work covers themed Adventures, the app's role and play materials. Quieter storytelling in Books is a separate development direction.
The website presents the project and its development direction. Describing a world or feature does not mean that it is on sale. We agree the demonstration scope and requirements for the particular version before a showing.
See the play concept
The home page includes a presentation video. The “How it works” guide explains the idea in text: from an instruction, through a decision and hit, to the game's response.
If a particular adventure interests you, start with the themes in development. This helps us identify the part of the project most relevant to your question.
